I have masses of buttercups growing in my horse paddocks, could anyone point me in the direction of the right spray to kill them off with, thank you x

Knapsacking? Use Grazon 90 or whatever it is called these days.
But once you have them flowering, it's a bit late really...

MCPA is best used when they are in flower
What ever you use apart from.grazon you need to keep the horses off for 14 days, and even with grazing I would .
From the picture it looks like there is very little grass there, possibly due to you poaching it in the winter so even if you kill the buttercups you will be left with dirt

I'm willing to bet it hasn't been limed anytime recently....
Every horse paddock near me is filled with buttercups don't see the problem with it surely there's still enough grass for a horse?

Buttercups usually grow on poverty stricken ground.. being a pony paddock which has probably been “poo picked” would also be a cause I suggest.

Grazon-Pro has relpaced Grazon 90. But it is still expensive and not ideal for Buttercups.
Very good for Thistles, nettles and Docks though.
24D will get rid of Buttercups a lot cheaper.

Oh I agree. I have sprayed many.many acres of 24D+MCPA over the years. Much of it on pony paddocks.
I made the assumption, possibly rashly, that the OP was going to be doing the work themselves. So product needing to be knapsack friendly...
