New 10ft mounted mower conditioner?

Looking at a new MoCo for this year.

10ft conditioner.

Claas or Krone seem to be the most popular makes round here.

Any pros and cons for either make?

Mate runs Kuhn front and back, rates them very highly.
Me I'm a krone fan but without a conditioner.

Nowt up with a Krone, currently running one ourselves. Built well enough! It is a heavy beast with conditioner so make sure you’ve a decent tractor up front. We get on well with ours. Like you it was between Claas and Krone for me I have a good dealer local so that swayed the decision, I would however have gone for JD/Kuhn above all others had they folded better in transport. But narrow lanes and a front mower meant they were a no go.

Run a KV here very impressed with it apart from the stickers. Out of your two options I would go Claas everytime. I no several people who are very rough on kit that I wouldn't even lend a spade to but they cant seam to break their claas kit!

Claas you'll not regret it I've not wrecked mine yet and it's taken some abuse

We run a 10' krone at the back with a 10' krone up the front as well. I like them....well built, clean cut, no belts or chain to the conditioner. Has the safe inside where the roll pins breaks and spins the disc out the way if you hit something... never have yet....

Always see krone mentioned as heavy on here but it appears to be the same weight as the pottinger, slightly lighter than the kverneland and Khun and a lot lighter than the McHale. All with conditioners.

Is it balanced badly on the tractor or have i just got my weights wrong?

Have operated krone front and rear mowers this last 3yrs on T7 210 and have found them v satisfactory giving no bother at all probably cut about 2000 + acres also running class which have done equally well except would shear occasional bolts

Went through the same decision process this year. Opted for the Claas as the Krone was too heavy for my 5713. Very pleased with the Claas.

I have seen krone giving trouble with frames cracking , class would be a better option , I have pottinger and they are a great mower too. Either of the two but not krone.
