New 800 series Fendt ?

Anyone seen or heard anything about next generation 800 series Fendt ? Must be the oldest model in their line up now and towards the end of its product life cycle ?

Not heard of anything in the pipeline, I imagine it will be styled like the 900s with the armrest and dash of the new 700s combined with the obligatory 15% price increase

Place I was baling at in summer had a new style 900 series carting off!l. Looked like a 1050!

They tell me nothing very soon, it appears to me that between 200 and 350hp their pants are down, was never a 800 series fan but the longer it hangs about the dafter it looks

I’m surprised it didn’t get a revamp this time round. Surely they must be running out of engines before going tier 5. Not in the market at moment but a 300 hp 800 series would be handy in 12 months time. Usually takes a while for new models to filter down to us here

Going by the logic of the Fendt numbering system, I’m guessing the 790 would be 900hp on a 7 series chassis? Interesting

I’d be very surprised if they go much bigger than the 724. Don’t the current 700 series have the same engine as the 800 series? Can the transmission in the 700 series stand any more power? Everybody is complaining about the 800 series, if Fendt up the power in the 700 will it not create the same problem? Personally i think a new 800 will be launched next Agritechnica with the old 900 series transmission, possibly the new 900 series transmission and MAN engine. They won’t put Sisu engine in as German farmers want a German engine.

They seem to giv more trouble in fendts than deutz tractors. Why is this? Is the coolin system not as effective or is fendt usin a smaller displacement engine than a deutz in this hp bracket

Not sure id want a 730. They would have to get bigger tyre options for a start and add more weight.

a 830 which would basically be the outgoing 930 but with the man engine would do me. Give me the new control layout as that looks the business.

my 927 is running at 300 hp and Ifind the cooling system excellent. 35 to 40 degree days and seems to run nice and cool. Maybe the 800 are different, I had a 822 but never did heavy work with it in summer
