To the folks in Workshop Projects, thanks for your help

To the folks from BFF and now TFF who've watched the progress on the way developing my portable crush, here it is

The brief was to be able to move a crush, hurdles and portable race and parting pen behind a 4x4 to outlying grazing up to 26 miles away

I gave up making it mobile on it's own wheels thanks to the Type Approval rules from last October ruling out one-off projects

I can cart and unload this without a loader using my 12ft Ifor trailer

It will carry the IAE Economy handling system and this crush

It features a back vet box access, a tipping rear gate and a self closing / tightening headstock

The web straps stop show jumping suckled calves

More photos to follow as upload reached it's max

How are you going to raise and lower the crush ?

I hope the second batch of photos explains this. Basically using a FarmJack. The last photo is a library shot of my existing pend system

The little / odd bits should fit inside the crush for travel and the standard hurdles in the u-channels on one side

I've never seen a yoke like that before - Is it your own design, and have you tested it yet ?

Now you have an excuse to post more pictures of hairy rugs :)
