Slightly off topic, but what on earth do you guys drag these 12m rollers with?? I used to drag an 8.3m set of dalbo's with 215hp on 650's for rolling after the drill and had to be aware of how I worked fields otherwise the tractor would start digging, so I can only imagine how hard these wider ones are to try and drag.
Pull 14metre with a tm150 800s on rear 540s on front some quite sloping field’s aswell
go up slope on a tramline

VF 710's set at 7 or 8 psi all round and 800kg on the front linkage, we don't need duals any more.
According to the 'performance monitor' on a Puma 240 they only need about 120 - 130 hp on the hills if you're sitting at 3.5mph, and as mentioned, go uphill on the tramlines.

Thankfully not my problem any more, would of been the easy way out if I hadn't been told under any circumstances DO NOT drive on the pre-em marks 🤷‍♂️

Looking for a new set of Cambridge Rolls. 12metres wide. Fairly heavy with breaker rings. Currently looking at and getting quotes for Dal-bo, Cousins and He-va. Any others worth looking at? Any issues with the brands I’ve mentioned? Not a huge amount of road work to do.
Bough a new set of Dal-bo's last year and love them, got the HD version with the largest rings, can fair cover the ground, very impressed with them. Pull them with 165 or 200hp but we dont have any steep hills, just a few banks

Bought a new 12 metre set of He-Va's this summer. Very pleased with them so far. About as heavy as you can get.
Pulled by a MF 6490 - atm.

We've had a set of 12 m Dal-bo's for 4 years now, 8 k cheaper than cousins contours,
Hydraulic pressure control over the gangs works very well
Pulled with 165 hoss power

I know its a Cambridge roll thread but are there any manufacturers of flat rolls with the same folding design. My soil is very Sticky and would more than likely want to pull behind the drill. Also fir the ones that have these 14m rollers how heavy are they on the hitch.

Twose or McConnel are popular down here, immediate neighbours have one of each, and plenty of other Twose about, but I don't know if they make a 12m set, which is why I didn't say anything.

Got some Twose 12.3m, 22", with breaker rings pulled with a JD6520(115hp). Got a couple of steep bits but manage ok on 650 tyres. Got the reverseing to unfold mechanism which is not the best idea

Walter Watson and Dalbo do 6m but never seen any bigger. Other alternative for sticky ground is gutter
