New combine cost

Can anyone tell me roughly the new on farm price after negotiaion for a new mid-decent sized claas/nh combine say 25ft, ive not looked at shifting mine yet but i thought 250k would be about right now or could an ex demo be got for nearer 200?

Err, dunno, I always use contractors, no desire to tie up big $$$$$ in rusty metal . . .

but I do know a new cotton picker is around $1,000,000

would it make sense to buy a new mid range combine and do your cutting then selling it on at the end of the season?
too much depreciation for the hours?

Ring the dealer of choice, just make sure your sitting down and have mrs boss farmer ready with the defribulator when your told the price!

New, large capacity headers ( combines ) are pretty close to the $1,000,000 mark here as well

Very important consideration that !!! The boss loves a bit of value ..... Better if he bought a sp potato harvester to keep the combine company in the shed ..... The just look so well together ... and show that the Boss is the MAN!!!

Not sure what is in Britain's range these days, but imagine still be about £60.
