new cubicle shed with no roof ventilation

Building a new cubicle shed which would have covered ridge in shed over cubicles. This will make beds wet other option is spaced sheeting but will make shed dark. Was thinking of normal roof with skylights and yorkshire boarding all round shed is a roof with apex over cubicles.

So why does it have to have covered ridge.

Sorry it could have open ridge with mushroom canopy but on other shed rain blows in
How big is the mushroom canopy?
I was looking at a shed at a farm the other day and the canopy sheet was little bigger than the opening and was wondering if rain would blow in.
The canopy sheet is more than double the size of the opening here

Our shed at home is just gapped tin but always felt that too much rain gets in this way. On a wet day the beds even look damp due to the rainfall getting in. Always liked the idea of having the set ups like shown above

Biggest problem with gapped sheeting is you cant put skylight making shed dark.

We had a gapped roof on one shed which was fine when new but as moss built up it let more and more water in. No simple ,effective and practical way of keeping it clean so bit the bullet and re roofed the side over the cubicles conventionally and left the ridge open, luckily in our case the ridge was over the centre of a scrape passage.
Should have done it sooner, I wouldn’t recommend a gapped roof.

We also have skylights in the gapped roof, they have half a length of tin at top and bottom and the middle section is two lengths of perspex. All the perspex does need replaced now though as is dripping onto the beds. Have new stuff ordered just waiting on it arriving
