Much prefer Lenovo and HP myself- the DELL machines tend to have propriatary parts .
Not really found that as much any more, we have about 250 Dells in use about the same HP and about 20 lenovo.

As long as it isn't a laptop or Server we have had no issues with using identical parts in all of them.

They are all just trying to cut costs so much easier to all pay to get parts manufactured centrally and share the costs.

As far as Mini PC’s are concerned, this must be one of the best available today. Very few compromises and it includes a really tidy graphics chip built in. The fans can be a tad noisy apparently, but the perceived noise depends on the relative position of PC and user. Mount it below a desk behind a barrier and it shouldn’t be noticeable.
Costly though, with the best value spec available being a mid range machine costing about £950 including VAT. You do get what you are paying for compared to others though.

My choice would certainly be a current model Mac Mini A2 which is very competitive on price even compared to the cheapest Beeline GTR6, far more efficient and very very quiet.

Add PC Specialist to that list. I’ve had a number of their machines

Bg

I replaced my desktop through them a few months ago, after a recommendation on here. Not the cheapest but not far out on similar spec machines from elsewhere and very good customer service. It almost felt like they wanted my custom. I'd certainly buy from them again. :)
