New Fastrac Cab

I cannot understand why they can’t make a 4 wheel steer 280 - 300 hp machine, they’d sell like hot cakes if they did.

BB
Because a Fasty that size is a haulage tool; an equal wheel machine in that power bracket will never put its tractive power down anywhere near as efficiently as a conventional wheel tractor/crawler. Not what it’s designed for.

New model coming out shortly ?
I agree.
I watched the video and was expecting them to announce a 4240-4250.
I did see rumours on here about a 6000 series, but that'll mean a bigger, heavier tractor. 250hp from the 4000 series would of been ideal.
What was the sneaky green one doing in video probably the new model in camouflage
under testing ?
I did a test for them we had 8310 but it was badged 8250 for a few weeks, then a purchased 8310 .

I doubt it, if it was a new model wouldn't it be running the ICON armrest? From the looks it was the old model armrest that was in it.
Hopefully I'm wrong, but it just looked like an older 4220 with a special edition paint job. ☹️

Could be one of the green ones that had a shoot trailer mounted on it. They wouldn't paint a prototype in a different colour to stand out as they're testing different engine/axle/gearbox set ups.

(new fastrac many years ago )when it was being tested it was in many colours. there was one near Burford which was green on local estate, and one near Silverstone was red and brown/yellow . Look at the army one on equal size wheels. With any manufacturer never underestimate sneaky things they can do .
