Im a Fendt owner and am looking to change, but im not 100% loyal to Fendt, even though it has been my best tractor to date. Im just weighing up my options and from the prices i have been getting for Fendt and Deere and comparing to ex demo, 1 year old and 3 year old, the Deere has lost the least in 2nd hand value.

I have been quoted (which i think is stupid price £138,000) for profi plus 716 with front pto and loader
Whereas very similar or maybe better spec, best can get with JD6155 cvt, front pto, loader etc £115,000.

I'm not a Deere man so don't no to much about them but have always liked them, just £20k+ difference and better 2nd hand value from my research a Deere is maybe the better option????

Have a 6155 with 643 loader
Like the tractor but several things i don't like about the loader.
The visibility to the headstock is non existent and the bucket crowd back is poor
compared to my previous quicke loader which means can't fill the bucket up fully.

Oh right, interesting. My m8 got a loader on his 6150m and says it's good but whatever loader I get will need matbro headstock so that might help see bit better?

The tractors fine as a loader tractor
The electronic control on the loaders good just find the
silly cover on the pipes block any chance of visibility .
Im just disappointed that its less user friendly than the quicke 970 it replaced.

Keep us posted as that would be my next quote for same spec as you(y) But never thought it would be near that much! Sure I was talking to salesman earlier in year and he said a 724 would be about the 130k ..

The Deere’s might be advertised for more but are they selling? Because the country is littered with used highly price R series.

That’s ridiculous. A brand new Cvx 240, front links, front pto and front loader would be a lot less than that and your getting a tractor that’ll boost to 270hp and 240hp standard.

Oh wow. Yes 138k profi plus 716 with front PTO (3k) and loader (8k). So 127k without the extras and this without the gps but Gps ready. Also no HYD top link or wheelweights
Blinking heck it’s only a 716. That price is insane. That same tractor / loader combo was a smidge over £100K a few years ago in SCR rather than S4 guise.

Have you worked out how much on farm discount your dealing is (not) giving you?

All Fendt prices are published on the configurator. If they’re not giving you 40% off list tell em to jam it up their you know what.
