New Fendt 942

This arrived at Thurlow Nunns last week and WOW...………….I kind of admired the various generations of 900 series Fendts but wasn't overly impressed by their appearance...…….until now! The 942 looks bigger than the current 900s and to be honest not much smaller than the 1000 series, but somehow they appear proportionate and not as lumbering as a 1050. But it is as big as an JD8370R and unfortunately for the "not so jolly green giant" this awesome

Fendt tractor is going to take even more JD customers away from them!!

Looks superb from the rear as well with the lovely rear green fenders sweeping down, much nicer than the current models bland grey versions. Roof line and lights are all different from the current model and all look more stylish.

Theres a new 939 old style model sat just to its left for size comparison. And thankfully the Fendt engineers haven't gone and ruined the appearance by giving it a high front windscreen like on that 724 sat next to it...………………..should have been a loader option only.

We paid 205 last year for a high spec 939 last year so that’s reasonable I feel for extra tech in there for an arable farm gearbox wise etc.
In 2016 I paid £136,500 for a brand new 936 s4 with front pto and reverse drive, 2018 I bought an ex demo 936 with a few hundred hours, variogrip, front pto ect ect for £157,500..... how on earth does that new technology justify an extra £65000?
