New Generation Pickup Costs

It would be good to have a thread to tie together prices people have been quoted for lease and purchase of these new generation of pickups. I'm just about to start looking for a replacement for my old L200.

What prices are people being quoted recently for decent spec Navara/Hilux/Ranger etc... with autobox/sat nav etc..

A few pre reg Ranger 3.2 Limited autos around at £21,500 - though they don't hang around long.
Have been looking at 1-2 year old models (mostly 2.2) but these prices are tempting. Will depend on trade in offers I guess.

NFU discount on Navara is (or at least was in Dec) 14% + £2100 on 2 top models with Nav etc. The list prices are online so you should be able to work out your own spec.

Dont like the isuzu after looking at lamma and finish not as good as toyota.various people on here had a few issues too.not keen on nissan but i cant say why.been offered a great deal though.dont know who does mitsubishi in norfolk after old dealer went tits up.volkswagon far too expensive fir what they are and dont think vat is reclaimable on top soec models due to carrying capacity.like the ford but delivery is far too long at 6 months from order.there is a wildtrack i looked at not far away that was special build fir the dealer with just about every extra going and they want a very premium price for it.could buy it now but they wont take of what i dont want.not ruled it out though.having a hilux to try thursday so ill see how that goes.nothing wrong with my current invincible 200 with only 43000 on it at 8 years old so may end up keeping that but i got 3 people very keen to buy it and ive not advertised it.we will see what happens.

Nfu or anglia discounts are a farce. The dealers I had quotes from said save the paperwork and they'll just do the discount themselves.

I had five quotes,2 of them offered very little discount, one 10% and the the other two were list as read from website.when questioned they said they coukd do a bit but not till i ordered and paid a deposit.spent most of saturday asking for a best price quote but sales girl was very arrogant and ened up being rude.all on email that i forewarded to Toyota.

Local garages do not like buying groups and will match the discount to stop you using then but if the buying group wasn't there then your leverage would be lessened. Compare the quotes you get to the garages "best" quote through carwow, I found some big differences.

The extra paperwork falls on the garage so not your problem.

Mum and dad just changed their car Anglia Farmers beat Carwow by 2572 pounds like for like all fees included in the price.

Prices from different garages but both within 45 minutes of the house.
