Looking at a 14 tonne grain trailer
Must have a roll over sheet and air brakes
Local dealers sell
Bailey and
Richard Weston
And I’ve found a decent seconhand Broughan

What make would you choose??

I bought a couple of Smyth trailers, love them, decent price and exceptionally well built, commercial axles, air, leds the lot, they do roll over sheets too. Well worth a look.

Out of your options it would be the Richard Western. However if you want the best it has to be between Ktwo, Stewart, Larrington or HM. Second hand trailers are rarley worth buying when you consider the price of them for the age, stick a new one on 0% finance and it will last you 20 years easily if it's looked after.

how do they compare on price? Against a Ktwo or Stewart.

I had 14t FieldMasters on floatations (BKT), manual rear door/hatch. Air over oil, load sensing brakes, sprung drawbar leds etc and they were £11200 each + Vat but this is going back 8 years, had them sprayed in red and can say the paint is still as good as new.
At the end of the day I couldnt see much difference between a Smyth and a Bailey when I looked over one at a show not long after I bought mine

Have had a look at a few trailers recently and came accross PK Trailers. Looks identical to an older Ktwo trailer, however cannot find out much about them but probably worth a look.
