New Hay Show and Tell

Rented a no-till drill from the County Soil and Water Conservation District for this 30 acres.

Large box held the orchardgrass, smooth bromegrass, and winter rye. Small box had the red clover, alsike clover, and timothy.
I rolled this prior to and after seeding with a rented landroller.

My girls helped mix the small seed. (They're washed their hands afterwards.)

Trying to fix the previous tenants mess.

This was rented from the Co-Op Farm Supply store to apply urea and potash.

Prior to that, I sprayed glyphosate to kill everything. That almost worked.

Hoping for timely rains and a late frost.

My father bought a 970 in 1973, I remember him saying to my mother that he was mad paying £3,000 for a tractor

That would be $28,000 today or 21,252 GBP. Can't imagine getting that much tractor for that little money these days.
