New hedger

So wasnt due to change the cutter till next season but the local dealer has an ex demo mcconnel 6065 that comes at a not too bad price and with 0% finance l am tempted.
Never ran a mcconnel before so any opinions of this model?
It is 6m reach without telescopic . I am used to a 6m Reco Ferri but with telescopic so 5.2 when retracted . Will the 6m fixed arm be more awkward in tight spots.
Are the Mcconnel still the daddy of hedgecutters or have others caught up by now?

Iv a fixed arm Shelbourne after having a tele boon bomford, it os more awkward in narrow lanes, under trees etc, my next one would be telescopic.

They were but are over priced now compared to the Shelbourne Reynolds . Having driven a telescopic you will find it very difficult without it....................................................
Lots of dots there , not sure what they mean (n).
I expected i would miss the tele a bit but "find it very difficult" is that not maybe a bit strong ?
