New Holland 1540S what model engine?

    Hi folks,
    A quick one as per the thread title.
    A Ford engined NH 1540s , what Ford engine is in it? 27xx or a 380 or ???

    is it a turbo 2714E or 2715E if it is a turbo 2714ET they are all 380 cu

    Non turbo, so 2715 i think. About 105hp

    I think our 1530 had that so would think it would be bigger.

    Thanks guys, is that the same engine as what's known as a " 380 " ?
    A mate has a Ford 8100 with a damaged engine and has a been offered one out of a 1540S as a replacement.

    2715E,also known as a 380 and rated at 120hp.

    "Back in the day" the combine engines were "industrial" and parts were only available off the shelf from Truck dealerships, and I believe the 8100 was the same.

    They used the same engine.across two or three power outputs, just 10-15hp admittedly, it was just hoe the pump was set.
