Hello, guys! Could it be possible that some of you have New Holland 644 round baller diagram? I would like to see belt location between rollers. I changed pressure roller bearings(that bearings those goes inside baller and can't screw from each side) and put it back, but something is wrong and belts are like towel not pressurised at all. Looks kind a strange, like to long, but problem is quite simple but I don't understand for know what!? Something is changed incorect...

Have you taken the pin out that releases the belt tension when you shut the door?

Mates, maybe some of you have some picture? I can't imagine and outside is quite dark now to go there and look on that pin.

Sorry mate. What kind of pin are you thinking about? You mean safety one that is located in left side?

It a long time since I had a baler the same but there is a bolt/pin that you place through the side of the baler to take the pressure off the belts.

Maybe some of you have some belt diagram for New Holland 644 baller? I want to check that location around belt rolls is correct to my baller or maybe there is some problems who needs some attention.

This is how the belts should be on a 644 baler, how did you remove the belts without using the pin to release the pressure on the belts

Forgive this rather off topic reply, but I've just been thinking.....we all know how awful it is to have a baler which you just can't fix - knotters not working etc... when you're trying to make hay.
Well, how ever did the baler designers cope with designing a baler from scratch and not need psychotherapy in the process?? To be surrounded by loose hay and a prototype baler in a warehouse somewhere in Europe would have given the best of us a headache. Imagine finding that after weeks of untied or loose bales that all that was needed was a simple spring loaded arm somewhere, or a slightly wider belt somewhere else...nightmare!!! They deserve medals.

Just a note, if the pressure roller isn't moving, back the pressure screw all the way off. We got ours out this year, opened the rear door to clean out and check all is well, shut the door and the belts didn't tighten back up. Backed the bale pressure screw all the way out and seemed to re set it's self. Sticky needle inside or diaphram.

Thanks friends! Problem solved. Yesterday's evening we both with my dad understand problem with baler and make it right again. Problem was with belt location.
