New Holland 8360 noisy back end

I have a ‘98 New Holland 8360 Range command. When used for draft work on the road a loud whine can be heard from the back end. This has been the case for a few years, admittedly it does not to seem to have got much worse, but I am pretty sure it should not be there and something is rubbing/worn/wearing. Can anyone suggest what I should do to stop it?

Thanks for the advise, so in your opinion leave well alone? Sounds like you have experience with these animals. You are from my neck of the woods.
