New Holland Boomer 50 - Looking for loader recommendations

Hi all

Have recently purchased a New Holland Boomer 50 and am looking to find a loader that is best suited for my tractor. Any recommendations would be great. I have no knowledge whatsoever in this so any advice/info I should think of when buying a loader would be great.

Where are you located? MX do nice well priced loaders for the Boomer series.

I looked these tractors up and they are made by a division of Lucky Goldstar of Korea. A company so diverse and massive that it is best known by the public for its washing machines, smartphones and particularly televisions. I didn't know until just now that they had a tractor division.

We have got a Boomer 40 and it is fitted with a MX C4 loader. The loader is very well build and fits on the boomer well. Its easy to get on and off. The boomers hydraulcs are more than enough for the loader so it all works very well.

Yes there has been a partnership with LS tractors for years.

Lewis would be best place to start. They specialise in leaders for compacts. I'm not aware any of the mainstream manufacturers do anything small enough

MX & Stoll (Lynx) do

will be at least a grand dearer than MX and no where near as compact. (We sell both)
From memory the MX was alot cheaper than the Stoll/Nh and at the time the stoll was not available with a euro tool carrier which is what we wanted.
Picture attached shows our one on the right

You won’t beat an MX loader and they’re by far the easiest and best to fit onto tractors. Every hole lines up etc, which most can’t manage, hydraulic kits are usually spot on aswell. Fitted an MX to a Deutz Agrokid years ago, was quite a different experience fitting brackets by hand with M12 bolts and just tightening them with a spanner!!!

Thank you for this! I think we are leaning towards a C40 too, is there a reason you chose it over the C40+? And is yours self levelling?

We did not need self levelling as we only use it for moving the odd bale around and mucking out a couple of small sheds. This was what we got offered and it has worked really well. We have had it 3 years now and been very happy with both the Boomer and loader.

If your looking at MX loader on a Boomer I would always go for the C4+, the additional cost is around £550, it adds self levelling and increases the payload from 620kg to 900kg.

MX C4
-non self levelling
-2.9m lift height to pivot
-620kg payload capacity
-blue colour
-mx quick attach headstock

MX C4+
-self levelling
-2.9m lift height to pivot
-900kg payload capacity
-blue colour
-mx quick attach headstock

Your problem at the moment will be lead times, Lynx (Stoll Loaders) and MX will be 2/3 months+
