New holland BR7060 problem.

New Holland BR7060 round baler - have a problem with it not engaging the net when it hits the target bale size. What would stop it engaging?

If it was in manual mode if wont net automatically.

Does not want to do it in the automatic mode. It gets to the target size but will not engage the netting system.

When you press the 'net' button will it do the full cycle automatically then or will it only net using the manual keys

If they have relays for the net actuator like 600 does I'd be checking them first.

I think we have got to the bottom of it. Last two days have been very hot and I think the oil in the tractor has got hot/thin and that has allowed a bit of seepage back to the tractor which in turn has taken the tension off the tail gate and therefore allowing it to open enough while the bale is being made to stop the netting process - if that makes sense. Today it has been cooler and it has behaved.
