Thanks for the replies.
It seems very little difference, only hp and grain tank.
But it's like NH ran out of numbers again,
Why have a CR 8.... in both narrow body and wide bodied versions? 🤔

They must have numbered it of the engine type,. 7s have a cursor 9, 8s a cursor 10, 9s a cursor 13 and 10 a cursor 16. Agree it's a strange way to do it through.

I would always go wide body CR. IME the narrow body looses output even with the same HP, and will really smash up the straw.

The numbers refer to the US combine class system I believe, nothing to do with the engine size.

They are numbered on the world classification for combines, which is based on power I believe. Class 7, Class 8 (both similar HP just wide and narrow body), then class 9 and then class 10. Agco is the same with it's models, others will be similar. If you google a class 9 combine for instance you will see various articles referring to the classification system of combines. CR7.90/8.80 have 17" rotors, the CR8.90, 9.90 & 10.90 have 22" rotors.
