The front fenders on a friend's New Holland T6030 have given up the ghost, splayed out and drooping down to the extent that they contact the wheel.

Im told that there is a bearing inside the spring loaded mechanism that can collapse, causing this issue...?

Has anyone repaired this, and would care to share their wisdom as to how to go about it?

:)

Just done one side after 9000hrs easy and cheap to do unless the pivot bolt bent . Carefully remove the cap as it costs 14.50 Then you need a 3 prong socket to remove the nut lift the mudguard clear, knock both bearing houses out and fit two new bearings, pack with grease replace the nut( new) £13.if pivot bolt passed it you need a m24 bolt to make your own as you have to buy a plate from stealer@ over£100 .
