Is it possible to run a front seed hopper fan in motor mode on a NH tractor with mid mount valves? The linkage and front spool are only controlled off the joystick as far as I'm aware
If you press the botton right button on the right console to put the joystick to operate the rear valves can you then use the normal spools switches to operate the front which would give you the 'motor' option. No idea if the joystick can be set to use like you want though
I think if you go to timer function and put the time right up it goes into constant pump mode so just flick the joystick to engage it,,,,,but I had trouble with damaging the mid mount spools on constant so now run a pipe to rear spools
Have done it before. Theres a rocker switch on the back right hand pillar of the cab. Switches the rear spools onto the joystick and the front onto the levers. Use the lever to engage the fan. And the joystick for lifting markers on the drill
Yes used to run a techneat terracast fan off the front spools and also a liquid fert tank pump, timer set at infinity and just knock the joystick across.
There must be a way of putting the spool into "pump" mode like you do with the rear spools? Mine is an earlier model without midmounts but when using the fan on the drill I first put the spool into float, then press the timer/pump button, back into the centre position and then into flow. Funny what you find out from reading the manual...
