That’s a tricky question.
Would you rather live with a slidy headrest in a CNH tractor, or put up with a Fendt 828 that’s on its 3rd engine in 3 years (like a local contractor)?

I think I’d settle for a Case at half the cost.
Problem is a case cvx top spec will be much more than half the price

Please please, a detailed of how to lift it up and remove (Case), tugged, rived, cursed mine for the last few years, barstuart of a thing, too low for headrest and too high for back rest, what is its point other than to annoy the hell out of me.
Good for asking GlennW

Can’t remember the process now, mostly brute force and ignorance 🙄, but it definitely lifts, then comes out of the runner somehow

The new Puma 260 with the heavy spec back end at £160k is not far off from the slightly bigger (now discontinued) 828 at “no change from £300k”. By the time you up spec to the Optum it will be slightly closer.

NB, these are anecdotal prices, I may well be a country mile off.

6 months ago a t7210 range command, front links and pto manual spools was 117k in ni, same as a puma 160 iirc so a 260 cvx has got to be a lot more than 160k

That problem with your NH quote was it written with the wrong colour of CNH pencil /s

Just spoken to someone who's had a demo of a 260 CVX with the newer and bigger quiet cab, and it sounds like it's near to £180k with the bells and whistles optional suspension upgrade (£5k), optional subwoofer (!) and general bling etc. "Really nice" apparently.
