I was baling some hay yesterday and had a belt twist on the baler, it's twisted in the 2 places up top where you look down on it but doesn't run all the way around in a twist if that makes sense. It was caused by the belts not tracking properly, they parted in the middle between 3rd and 4th belt when I had just started a new bale on a very light swathe. I managed to pull them all back into line all okay but can't sort the twisted one. How do I turn it back over safely? As I understand it, if I lift the tailgate partway and pull the lever to slacken the belt tension I should be able to work on it, but won't be able to shut the tailgate down to do so.
