When you can bale axial flow straw with a narrow pick up 550 , 👍👍👍you can bale owt , maybe devils machines now , but where the baler in their day ,like 30 drills ,and fahr drum mowers ,
I would have chosen a New Holland over a JD baler, back in the 90,s . The New Holland never jammed as much and was reliable, just a shame they fell by the wayside.

Upgrade to JD 590 still cheap but better! mine cost £2300 looks mint too
Not sure why but that was a model I was told to avoid, possibly the electrical side? The benefit of the old 550 is it is all done by trip mechanism and can be tripped manually as well. The electric side is for guidance only. Seems to be a big jump in price to 592.
The JD seems well built and painted considering how d some of them are. TBH with area I do i should have a contractor but mine is in small areas and never fit at the same time.

This is just the job and a good price , bought my combine off this lot , never missed a beat

Thanks. That certainly looks tidy and quite reasonably priced. Have just bought a 592 for a fair bit more.
