I'm newish to tractors so please don't shoot me for the dumb questions. I've a New Holland Boomer 50 which wasnt quite cutting it for what I needed, so have just bought a New Holland T5 105. Two very different beasts I know.
The boomer spool valves took my 4 Ton tipping trailer no problems but the T5 seems to have different fittings. The spool valve block feels like it needs a deeper fitting but otherwise it might work if it would fit into the the hole on spool valve and the trailer brake connection has the wrong fitting period. Does anyone know what size/type I need and/or if I can get adaptors that will let me use the trailer with both machines. The current connection coming off my trailer says they are 1/2" BSP fittings.
On a separate note, I took the T5 a few miles down the road and its like a see saw much above 10 Mph. Its absolutely awful. It not to bad at low speed which makes me think its not tyres out of shape etc. I've read plenty saying try lower tyre pressure etc which I intend to try. Has anyone had any other experience of the same with a similar model, or is it a common thing anyway?
Thanks
