New Holland T6 155 Battery Dead Flat ?

tractor was all right when used a few weeks ago, not used since because muckspreader is on and been waiting here for rain forecast before putting anymore muck out onto the grass, went to start it yesterday, turned key and not even the light on the dash came on ? took battery out put on smart charger to see if we can save it ? i have to confess that having read the operators manual it shows a battery isolator switch, i didnt know that and suggests if leaving the tractor more than a couple of days to switch this ? Well you learn something new everyday, with me it often costs ?

Often thought a timed battery cut-off system would be useful but modern ECU types might not like that idea.

I remember having similar problem with our JD 2040 ... turned out to be faulty solenoid on starter
