New Holland t6.175

What are these tractors like , been looking at second hand Deere’s but price and spec this one is a fair bit ahead , but we are unfamiliar with NH . On the specs online , rear lift only 3.5t , yet 6830 deere is 8t , is this correct?
What are they like to operate , reliable ? The one we are looking at has 6.5 k hours 50 k trans , loader etc.
Guess bottom line is how do they compare to john Deere 6030 series ? As we really like john Deere , but they seem a bit over priced .
Thanks

Back in 2014 we bought a t6.175 electro command, sent it back after 2 weeks due to the god awful whiny gearbox. Bought a new shape one in 2018 with the dynamic command and it’s a cracking tractor. Great engines etc but I wouldn’t touch electro command with a barge pole

Hows the reliability on the new tranny? I ask as yesterday i seen a local 145 maxxum active 8 down the road revving its head of doin around walkin speed. Musta been stuck in low range

Not sure why quite so much hatred towards the old CNH gear box, I genuinely do think they were more whiney in an NH for some reason?!

We put 8500hrs on one and got another currently at 7200hrs but we have since moved to CVX now and wont be going back. Have tried the Dynamic command/Active drive 8 and whilst it was a very nice gear box indeed I still wont be swayed away from a vario now.
