new Holland T6.180

Heard of owners complaining that they're gutless. Plus they'll have ElectroCommand, and the less said about that useless gearbox the better.
Although it'll be interesting to see how they get on with the AutoCommand box in them. Personally I'd like to hope DynamicCommand will become an option in the 180.

There 158 max hp boost to 175. Electro command is still the only transmission used in the 180’s at the moment. Pity really as it very dated now.

Has anyone got a t6.180 from late last year or new this year? If so how are you getting on with it? Good and bad points please.

T6.180 here, arrived in January this year. Just over 1000 hours now. It was good value when we bought it, slightly cheaper than kubota I think. Yes the gearbox is dated but it is what it is. Has done everything we’ve needed of it, trailer work, tanking and muck spreading and 12m rollers.

There are nicer/better tractors out there but they are also more money.

Just a shame the supplying dealer has not enough staff and let several go 4/500 hours past services as couldn't get to them.

Salesman told me some people just don’t think a 4 pot is up to it, I made the 175 do more than it should’ve and it was fine, some wider boots would’ve been good for what I was asking it to do though.

We had our 180 in January and it was nothing but problems, the problems just kept coming and getting bigger every time. Dealer agreed to replace it at there own cost, but as I’ve recently been told by our dealer NH recently recalled it as they’ve had a few problems with tractors built around the time ours was built, so she’s gone back for investigation. Our new 180 turned up yesterday so fingers crossed it’s gonna be a big improvement on our last tractor...
