Good evening
Can anyone give me some tips on changing the Serpentine main belt and the Aircon pump belt. Added complication of a Zuidburg front PTO. This particular tractor is a T6070.
Thanks

I've just done one on my tsa with front pto which I've been putting off for ages. Turns out it was an absolute doddle unless i got lucky.
Mine has factory fit pto but i took the top inspection cover off the pto, undone the inner circlip and took the shims out, grab hold of the shaft behind the radiator and it literally just slide forward out of the crank coupling. Must've took all of 10 mins to change.

I didn't need to undo any bolts on the rear coupling.
Once youve got the shaft moved just just a good 1/2" rachet in the tensioner pulled and pull up flicking the belt off.
Mine went exceptionally well and i did nkt think it would be that easy. Hope you have the same luck.
This is the 1st belt ive ever changed on the tractor in 10 years and ive never used the front pto so i didn't hold much hope of it ever parting
Good luck

It's the threading it through between the fan and the cowling that gets me every time  . Always seem to manage to pull the belt off again rather than get it over the shaft. Gets in a muddle when about half way. Certainly takes more than 10mins unless you have any tips.

So it can be done. I have been told it is necessary to remove the fan?

Sorry @essexpete I have a case which is the same as the tsa above. Would have thought a 6070 would be similar.
You need to thread it through from the inside and slide it wider as you get some belt through. It always seems to get in a muddle about half way and end up pulling the same bit out again. Iirc the cowling can be slackened a bit to give a wee bit more room.
