New Holland T6040

I know I wrote this post last year...... But I'm still no wiser!
To clarify our 6040 is an elite with electro command (fancy name for sle) gearbox.
It has 2 spools.
EDC linkage.
Low profile roof with opening front window if you could believe it
It's a common rails engine with electronic pump.

Another thing can someone clear up for me? Being an Elite would/should it not have the "advance keypad?? Ours does not!

I'd really like to see a list of factory standard optional equipment for all three specs.

Sounds like you've got a T6040 LS then that stands for loader special. New Holland did a T6020 LS as well. A higher spec lower profile tractor that had a larger hydraulic pump as well for fitting a front loader to.
Yes it will have power boost and no keypad on the dash. We had a 6020 just the same

I'm be new holland expert but it sounds like an import. In laws bought an immaculate ts100 that was french spec with things like the opening windscreen and has been given a UK plate. Chap in Shropshire brings them over from southern France because they're looked after so well

Ill have to do some digging.
Spider Mike It does have a factory loader to be fair.
It came up for sale at a private dealer along with a sister 6040 from the same farm.... The only difference between it and ours was a year younger, oval lights, slightly bigger loader and no opening front window, it was an elite also.

I'm going by the stickers thats on the doors. I must look into seeing if a dealer can get me the build spec.
