New Holland T7 autosteer

Were looking to get our 2014 T7270 setup for autosteer, it's not currently steer ready but we've got a nav controller and antenna ready.

The last T7 I made autosteer (2012 T7.250) I fitted a New Holland DIA kit, it worked well in the field but was horrible to drive on the road. I've driven the latest T7 with the new style orbital and it's brilliant to drive on the road now.

What's the best route to go down with the 270? Would it be possible to keep the standard orbital unit and fit something like a Trimble valve block for the autosteer. Is this all possible to do through the inteliview and keep it all standard?

Or is it possible to fit a DIA kit off the newer tractors on a older one?

Would have to be the correct DIA kit for that age of tractor, new style is a completely different system. Unsure if a trimble valve will work with a CNH NAV 3 think it will only work with a trimble system. I'm struggling to understand why the last machine you converted was bad too drive on the road?

That's what I thought regarding the DIA kit.

It's because the old style orbitals were non reactive so when you let go of the steering wheel it doesn't self centre, this makes it horrible to drive on the road compared to a normal orbital. CNH must have realised this as they've changed design now, it mentions it in the workshop and training manuals.
