New Holland t7 jolts backward and forward when in neutral .

I have a new Holland t7 165s which jolts or rocks backwards and forward when in neutral and makes a loud knocking noise from back end. Not done 300 hours yet. It’s been back and had a new hydraulic pump on it but no cure !!! Any ideas?? Or any one had any problems like this before ?

sound like its not engaging neutral properly and snatching between forward and reverse. ours is having the rear diff look at at the minute not good at 500hrs

Yeah I don’t like a new tractor being pulled apart, never goes back the same !! And what if there is problems down the line out of warranty they won’t want to know !!

Its a bit unacctable for a machine at the price of it to be doin things like that. Mind its far from the first time iv heard of newholland/case tractors givin big trouble inside first few hours. Think cnh is takin the pee with build quality and quality control

What gearbox has it got? Is it 50k or 40k eco?

Every make gives bother. I know of a mf 6290 which people say are great tractors stopped driving when new with 3 hours on the clock! Transmission strip down to repair!

My last jd went with 5000 hours and only ever looked at when serviced. Its replacment has not done 200 hours without a problem. Now on 1500, only 3500 to go

Don't worry its nothing new. Tractors been rocking forward and backward since way back when [emoji23]
