Howdy team, I have a niggly little problem that I can't seem to figure out. I bought a used amazone fertiliser spreader with the amados spread rate control which requires a tractor speed input to work. I get the correct cable and plug it in and I get no 'pulses' registered. I get the amazone dealer to check it out, they plug into a Claas tractor and it's working fine. So I test my t7's 7 pin plug output and I am indeed getting a variable frequency output dependant on speed. The pins are in the correct spot too and it won't work if I swap to the radar pin either. So I'm stumped why the amados box can't pick it up. Is the signal weak or something? Has anyone encountered a problem picking up a speed signal out of their tractors 7pin plug to an implement control unit and did they find a fix? I can obviously get an external sensor setup on the driveshaft etc, but that seems a bit silly when I have supposedly modern tractor. Any help would be much appreciated 🙂
