New Holland T7060 - Intelliview 2 Problems

I have a 2008 T7060 with intelliview 2. Recently it has flagged up red error codes ID-001 and ID-004, vehicle ID not received and display config not received. All information on the tractor has been lost and the screen for the spools has been lost.

None of the electric spools now work leaving the tractor with mowers hooked on. There was 1 spool playing up lately but the problem was intermittent.

It looks like as the intelliview has lost the tractor it has lost all spools. Any ideas how to reset the intelliview or pick up the tractor again? I have a new spool slice for fitting Monday but won’t get it done with the mowers sitting on as they are.

Either you have a can bus problem ( but u don't mention any other controllers having a comms fault) or the intelliview module has shat itself. Either way you're going to need the dealer for a global scan and /or trying a payload re install.

What ?
Drive it over ?
Couldn't they talk you through it over the phone, or send out a mechanic if that couldn't fix it ?
They talked me through a few simple things on the phone but none worked, they want it plugged in but aren’t available to Monday. If I could manage to get the mowers off by then it would leave things easier if I could just drive it over to leave with then.

Ok so it looks like they will have to come out to me then. I’ve heard of lots of problems with the electric spools but not with the intelliview.

Gerrydrumm, You solved the problem with electric spools?
I have a t7060 with intelliview III with same error id -001 and all electric spools won t work. If i drive the tractor 100m, the electric spools work again. ( sometimes, not always). Any ideeas?

Yes it was all to do with one of the spools becoming faulty. So you have to find out which spool is causing the problem and pull the plug out from the back of it. This will leave the bad spool dead but should leave all others working and the screen will come back online. Ive fitted 2 new spool slices this past year.

Disconnect all spools and try.
Connect one by one to find faulty one.
They can catch water inside or burn and then short the Can lines.
If is only a screen I could check that for you.
Spools send to David King he know them well.

This you want to disconnect? I point with my finger.
If i disconect them i need to calibrate them? Or if i disassemble whole mechanism then i need to calibrate?
Thank you.

Yes so pull out the plug just. I didn’t need to unplug mine step by step to find out which one it was. I was able to hold the spool on for 10 seconds each way and the faulty one would cut out while pumping, you could hear it pumping and then stopping. You will need to calibrate when you fit a new slice.

Now all 4 work fine, i will try when the error apear again. Thank you.

And that is a bad or a good thing ?😁
Bosh valves as all conected parallel on power and canbus, so if one is shorting then you can easy find by elimination.
Other system is drive by external controller so more things to check.
And you may need someone to come over and do diagnostic on tractor.
