Just a quick one we run new Holland tier 4 b 7.210s ATM we have just demo a 210 tier 5 has anybody noticed they seem noisy in the cab?

Is it the cooling fan?

I didn’t notice any difference 4b to 5 personally.

Just measured mine using an app and it’s averaging 67db at 1900 rpm while power harrowing.

Try switching the fan/air on off and see if that cures the drone.

It’s surprising how loud it is even with the a/c on but the fan off. However just turn the radio up a bit lol

If the fan is off the air con will be off…

Nope it blows air out with the fan on 0, I usually find unless it’s baking hot it’s enough to keep it a pleasant temperature.

My T6 is the same, aircon on and fan off blows a small amount of air out, same as Colin says, unless it's very warm its enough to keep the cab a nice temp

OK our new one has arrived auto command @1700 revs it has a real drone and slight vibration through the floor mat it almost sounds like a hydraulic noise. At pto speed it just seems noisy even when the cooling fan cuts out

That’s odd maybe get them out to look at it? Could it be transmission noise your hearing? I find ours is most whiny in transmission mode 3 but I rarely use that mode.
