New Holland TM120 pto problem

I’ve got a problem with the pto on my classic spec TM120, hoping someone might have an idea on what it could be. The Pto will randomly switch off whilst in use, pto light goes off, turn engine off and on again and it will work again. Sometimes it blows the fuse, replace fuse and back working again. When it cuts out the Pto brake engages, I doubt it’s doing it any good stopping pto at full speed! Checked so far;

Switched solenoids over from Pto brake.
Checked wiring under seat, on handbrake, under floor plate, Under Pto button/around gear levers, unused ground speed connector, Pto speed sensor wiring, alternator wiring, steady 13.7v from alternator.

I haven’t replaced the speed sensor,being a classic spec it doesn’t have Pto speed on the dash, so I’m not sure it would be causing a problem?

It only seems to have a problem once its hot but it’s not consistently blowing the pto, if I drive really really steady it seems to work just fine.

Any ideas on this one? Tearing my hair out! Intermittent electrical faults are very annoying!

Get the alternator checked out, mine did something similar last yr baling, got the alternator recon'd and no bother since.
Ive heard of alternators causing some real strange problem on TM's/MXM's.

The pto brake and pto solenoid are different and not interchangeable, so that wouldn't have been a good test.

Alternators cause loads of issues but I've never heard of them popping fuses, Always worth a test though as one caught me out a few months back!

Lift the floor out and check the wiring loom, I've seen the wires rub though on the plastic covers. These looms are old and hard now, most of the problems I've had recently are here.
