I got rid of tm155 after two years as the brakes were rubbishWe had 2 of them. The first one had problems with the front axle suspension and the fan electric clutch. NH and the dealer came up with a deal too good to refuse to change it for another one. Which apart from the digital dash going wrong, was a much better tractor.
Changed it for a 7050 in 2010, which I’ve still got. Bloody good tractor! Non electronic spools and no Inteliview screen.
Next door neighbour bought a 2nd hand TM 190 which was a bugger for reliability.
Basically an 8560. Seen one in Somerset with the same storyRange command. 4 spools, no cab or axle suspension and came on bike wheels. Nice simple machine.
The TM’s had front wheel braking by the brake pedal actuating the 4WD, which BG buggered the brakes.I got rid of tm155 after two years as the brakes were rubbish
I got a low hour tm190 instead which was a beast
Mine was 18 speedThe TM’s had front wheel braking by the brake pedal actuating the 4WD, which BG buggered the brakes.
The 70 series have a proper front wheel braking system by the front axle Diff that prolongs the life of the back axle brakes, especially if doing a lot of trailer work. Also allowing the gearbox a 19th gear to achieve 50kph.
Some TM190’s shared the 70 series back end, but dropped the engine revs in 19th gear to limit them to 40kph.
