New holland ts100 buying advice

Considering buying a ts100 with a loader. Needs to be an all rounder on an equestrian property, 50 acres approx of grassland to manage no baling or turning.
What are your opinions of this tractor?
Things to check when viewing , anything in particular?

Are the less reliable than any other or just abused more?

Id count a ts better than the tsa or newer. Id go for a 110 as itl be a bit more pokey

115 Turbo pull a 110 inside out though. Not much bigger either.

Unless the ts100 is alot bigger than a 7740 I can conform the a 7740 will go many places alot handier than u will get a ts 115. We replaced a 7740 with a ts115 both with loaders

We replaced a7740 with a TS 115 & soon realised what TS stood for Total Sh?t. All JD now, shame as 7740 proper tractor

Have the ts about a year now. Not a nh fan but they fit the pocket and do the job

Funny how experiences of things differ, we had a 7740 back in the day, possibly the worst tractor we have ever had on the farm. Perhaps it was a Friday afternoon build.

Bigger mudguards and wing mirrors etc on the 110’s. The 6 cylinders are only a foot longer and about 300kg heavier.

That's different altogether then... The TSA is basically a Fiat. The TS is a 40 series follow on from Ford. Totally different tractors.
For loader work it would be better if it is a Plus rather than Delta. Better hydraulics with a piston pump then. If I'm not mistaken, the Delta spec would be the same as the old 90 series Fiat's. ie a bit numb... Depends on what loader work your going to be doing I suppose...

That’s also true. Massively derated engine with 105hp from a 7.5 litre.
