Pics taken from a TM135 but pretty sure the layout will be much the same on the 60 series.
I think you will be fine without the boost system for the pump, this was fitted to stop the over fuelling when at low revs with little boost on turbo which resulted in a bit of smoke at low revs (emissions regs!) I had a 7840 fitted with turbo that smoked a little, about 125 hp and a 8240 that I had a turbo fitted to that was 128 hp at the pto making it about 145 at engine, this never smoked at all and was sold with 9500 hrs, that was a fantastic tractor and I think you would acheive a similar result with your 8260,best of luck!Yes without doubt and when your set up and you need a boost for the pump I have one but you might be ok with out it

turbo looks very fresh, did you decide to go for new parts?
good to hear your efforts have you smiling!
have you tweaked the fuel pump?
On factory fuelling they wake up no end!
Nice clean tractor
