New Honda bike delay!

Hi, I’ve been waiting on a new Honda 420 fm2 for about 2 months and nobody I speak to can tell me when It’s going to arrive!! My bike just now is needing tyres and serviced but I’m not really wanting to spend any money on it. Just wondering if anyone else can shed any light on what happening or in the same situation? Thanks. My dealer said it’s late due to shipping delay and has no idea when any new bikes will arrive

My neighbour went to our dealer in February for a new 420 before lambing and he was waiting delivery of 35 quads,all pre sold. They hadn't arrived in June and no likely date given. Pioneers available apparently

We have had new hondas on order since January and still not turned up!!

I asked in May about a new Honda and they said then they couldn’t guarantee a date would be sometime in 2022.

The bike I’m waiting on is a cancellation, no idea when it was first ordered. Think I better look after my own bike for a while yet

Used bikes are going up in value to as no one can get new ones just seen a 6 year old 420 advertised for what we paid for a new one a couple year back

Yeah, part of the problem is they're nearly unaffordable now tbh, and the insurance value, which was fair at the time is way too low now. Word to the wise make sure the values are up to date on you policy!

I'd be happy with a new 90's TRX400 but with a frame that didn't rust...its on its second front repair section!!!

Bikes are stuck in US due to cost of containers and avaliablity.

18 in a £1800 container 2 years ago
18 in a £18,000 container atm.

Should have bought shares in a shipping firm!

They're all running behind ,maybe not as far as Honda. Suzuki always sponsor the NSA ram sale by loaning a load of quads for tup taxis but there were none available this year
