It then spent a while in the workshop getting the front power harrow fitted up

Admittedly the tanker wasn't a big test for it

Thanks for posting your pictures Fraserb - very good ! How do you rate the 6210 ? and how do you get on with the Solitair drill ?

Cheers David, I usually post a fair few photos over the year. The 6210 has been really good so far, I havent done a huge amount with it yet but comparing it to my 7530 its definitely smoother on the road and using less diesel on the same jobs. The solitair drill is excellent, this is our second one the first covered approx 12000 acre and in that time it had, 1 set of disks, two marker mounts and a fan speed sensor. The new one came in 2011 and with the trapeze ring roller on the power harrow I can go in conditions I really shouldn't

If you dont mind me asking why do you run the power harrow on the front

The front power harrow is used on some of our ground, with this ground we've found that if we run the front power harrow pretty slow it seems to level off the ploughing and firm it up so I can then run the rear one shallower and faster and it really breaks the clods as they're kind of held in place. Not sure if that makes any sense but it works for us on certain fields anyway.
