I had a ridgeline smock, was a great coat but I sweat like a pig in it, ended up wet through either way, I have a harkila orton for shooting, it got a good test today and passed, kept dry and not sweaty, but it’s not as hard wearing, tough material as ridgeline

How does the Betacraft come up for sizes? L is for 41" chest but how generous is it for wearing over layers?..

Not interested in the jackets but their Bush shirt looks a total bargain compared to the Ridgeline Grizzly

I’ve just looked at Kiawaka gear. You lot must be making way too much money!! I can buy 10 years worth of lined Flexothane jackets for the price of one Stormforce?!?! And if I catch one on barb I wouldn’t sit down and cry!!
The kiawaka stuff doesn’t get caught on the barb as readily as flexothane stuff, as the material is tougher. They are expensive, but are very good!

Betacraft and kawaika are made in the same factory , exactly the same , labels and tags on the washing instructions, as I tell everyone we blood tested over 200 hoggs in January whilst wearing the bib and brace, all covered in frost and snow, and I held ever one for over 3 hrs, and not a drop of moisture on my trousers after,
For the difference in price it's a no brainer for betacraft, if you get a chance check the labels both identical font and washing instructions.
