Is it going to have enough power with only same engine as the 320, it is the main thing that restricts our 310s on the clamp 145hp doesn't seem like enough in what looks like a lot heavier machine

Surely thats about gearing

A cat it12f loading shovel is 90hp but will push a 10ft buck rake without blinking when they tried to sell a local contractor a telehandler for the clamp he pushed the telehandler and fork full of grass up the clamp

Its only gearing that alows this

Did you ever run a cat 910 65 hp awesome little loader

Ive only know of the it12f i know the bloke had anorher one before it that he speaks very highly of that could well have been a 910
Seeing the condition of the current one that is over 20years old i wouldnt hesitate to buy any piece of genuine cat machinery they really are a class above
I dont think the rebranded stiff like the teles and minidiggers are quite up there but the shovels and big excavators are

I always think Biggest cause of headstock tilt brackets ripping of is not cleaning out behind them so the Ram is still pulling in but as it can’t get to the end of its travel as grass or whatever is packing it away from the stops

I'd say it's the opposite, when tipping the headstock hits the stops at great speed due to weight and leverage of the bucket, one of my buckets is near 6' in the base this puts a fair strain when tipping.

I don’t suppose it will do them much good both ways, we welded a bit of 4” pipe holding both sides of the bracket together after it ripped off
