Anyone had a price yet for 185? Just waiting for the dealer to get all the technical information, is it just a 155 on steroids! or has the lift and transmission been beefed up a bit?
My salesman is going to quote me a price tomorrow hopefully. I think they have bigger hydraulic pumps so should increase flow and lift. I think the problem will be a delivery date as when I priced a new tractor 4 weeks ago they said it would be July delivery. I wonder if Deere have kept some build slots available for the new ones as I don’t think I’d rush to order if I couldn’t get delivery before next harvest.

What year was it? Only reason I ask is our 16 plate would never boost in PTO work. The dealer was out to it many times and in the end it was chipped once out of warranty. The 21 plate boosts all the time it’s supposed to and goes as well as the chipped 16 plate. We won’t need to fettle this one. It does use 3 times as much as blue as the old one, being stage 5.
Yeah 16 plate it was never dynod by the dealer just by someone else to check the chip power

When the worst thing you can say about a tractor is it’s dashboard and passenger seat- it must be a pretty good tractor

I swapped a 6250r for another one last summer. Passenger seat is annoying not fussed by the dash. But by a very long way the worse thing about the tractor is the pickup hitch. You can’t effing see it and when you lean out the window to see it cuts the drive. I’m not small it must be terrible for shorter people.

I thought JD may have fixed it by now so hopefully they will on the new ones. The good news is I don’t often drive it, I’m quite happy with a tractor I can hitch something on. It does pull well though

Im guessing another £20k on the price
What's others opinions?
I've ordered an old style 6R that was already on order with the dealer. That is supposed to be here in march.

While talking to the dealer he thought the new ones wouldn't land until summer and might cost 10k more.
I didn't think I was going to get much extra for my 10k hence why I grabbed one of very last available to me.
It will be interesting to now by those that are getting prices!

While on the subject, is this much different to what it does already?

A key new 6R Series feature is the integrated 1-Click-Go AutoSetup system, which makes tractor and implement settings much quicker and easier. The operator can save up to 90 per cent of display clicks in the field and the tractor is always perfectly adjusted.

All the required settings can be pre-planned and managed in the cloud, including agronomic data such as field boundaries, guidance lines and prescriptions. Once the tractor crosses the field boundary, the stored profile is automatically available and even temporary drivers can be consistently accurate and avoid mistakes.

We were told today if we order a 8r today it would 2023 before we see it and 7r would be 11 months away no idea whats going on in the world but i am guessing the prices of 2nd hand ones is going to rise rapidly.
Time to look at another brand then that will be fit to deliver the thing in a timely manner

Am I the only one that sees no point in all that automation ?

Can you honestly say that you do exactly the same thing at every end every time I know I don't due to field shape hills stones wet bits etc or is that just me ?

Dunno, you'll have to ask someone else.
