Get the 40k eco and the get her remapped so she revs out to do 50k

It’s not that easy on the 2020 and onwards models, there are multiple controllers that need doing, which means the tractor can’t ever have a software update. With an engine map you can update everything else except the engine software and the map will be safe but it’s all interlinked on the 40k map.

We were hauling silage 5.5 miles yesterday with 3x 50k tractors and 1x 40k. The 40k one was no slower, he wasn’t being caught up by the others. That was one country lanes, obviously if you did a lot of long main road work it would be different.

For the work we do 40k is ample 90%of the time

They’re not available from factory as 50k. Perhaps there’s still dealers fiddling with them 🤷‍♂️

Big thing abot an eco 40k (which is a 50k with a rev limiter) is the fuel saving, I have a 6620 with an eco box, also a bypass switch to let it do 50k. On level road work running with an empty trailer at 40 fuel consumption is around 2 gallons an hour, with the switch down its nearer 5 gallons an hr.........
