Started lambing today, this is Lilly long legs with her three lambs

Flufffhead lambed in the night only one but as she says you can't rush quality
its a Freddy MK2 so I can't keep it, unless a Texel cross Flufffhead Ram would be a good idea ?................. most likely not
Anyway I will get some pics for those of you that are her devoted TFF followers .................@neilo

I've had a crap day one of lambing. One born dead out of twins, the most enormous lamb stuck in a second ewe, its twin dead and then the ewe pegged it. Finally got the internet back after a month so good to come on here and see Fluffhead and Lilly, ta.

Freddy 2 is getting bigger by the day with Flyfffhead doing him well
we lost our first lamb a couple days ago its mum didn't tend to him and he got cold went on for a half a day after we got him warm and was looking good then he went down hill and died
cant win them all but don't want to lose them

Two normal sized lambs popped out in under an hour breathing slightly easier now. (I know jinxed it again!)

Finished lambing a few days ago, its gone really well we lost none at birth but one died after its mother didn't tend it and it got cold and we have lost two more to the badger/fox but still ended up with more than we scanned @farmerclare will know the stats

24 ewes scanned to have 43 lambs 179%
24 ewes had 44 lambs 183%
Lost 3 lambs so now 41 lambs. Turned out 2 sets of triplets both to first time lambers they're doing them really well. Would have expected their lambs to be taken more than the doubles but no.

Great result well done. With your numbers it's scary what losing one lamb does to the figures so don't get too would up about percentages (I'm guilty of it myself). You should be please however.
