hi,

New ley drilled August, mainly ryegrass for strip grazing cattle next year. Most stood at around 9inch tall , graze off with sheep now and have fresh growth next year or leave it till next year..?

I have the same question, mine had one graze for 3 days and is now similar. However I will be turning out at lambing in late Feb onto it. Should I give it another short graze or keep it shut up?

Have you got a decent sized mob that you could let in for a few days? They'd take the top of it, but not get the new shoots that come after 3 days.
