Has anyone else heard that there’s one in the making 😊😊
Nah

Agco have spent all their research budget buying trimble for billions

Not as is any other manufacturer has a vario in this hp sector?

Well, apart from fendt, and Deutz, OK yes CNH, but nobody else, is there?

Ok, Deere too

So that's Fendt, Deutz, CNH, Deere

But there's still no urgent need for agco to update their lineup and include a wee Massey Vario, is there?

Well, maybe mccormick do have their VT drive, but Claas don't, nor do kubota, so what's the panic?

Harry Ferguson invented draught control, so there's obviously not been much need to update the product line since then 🙄

Massey haven’t made many updates since about 2006 🤣

The handbrake in the 7614 leaves a bit to be desired, very 70s, apart from that as a good tractor for livestock or mixed farm its a good rig, deere may never master manual transmission control and i think best of to be like fendt and go full vario.

I have rough paddocks that will take a few years to get around and iron out, im not sure i can afford it but i need something smoother, upgrading the mf seat will be my first go to if cant get new tractor.

Ant....

I’ve heard it’s not far off- it just needs to be about 160 hp and 50 kph
If that happens, we be back to how the 4 cylinder 6400s evolved into 66, 67 & 6S. More powerful, but bigger and heavier. I found a 5713 to be the replacement for a 6470.

If a 5S gains VT, 50k and the power not to be flat with them, we'll need a 4S for the lighter jobs. And not a global one. Then a thread will appear in a few years demanding VT in it.

Weight wise your right- I’ve a 6718S VT on 710/60/38s and they’re a fair bit heavier than a 6470 was . My issue is you can’t put big enough tyres on it for early crop work it needs to be able to put 42s comfortably not rubbing the tanks. A 7S 210 on 900/50/42s isn’t much heavier but travels far lighter 🤦‍♂️.

I've thought for awhile we need a 4s
A livestock tractor with 110hp 2.1m wide 2.5m tall with a panoramic roof from claas and the snoopy nose from the Massey with the vario from the fendt 211
Oh and if I really want to get wild about it might even have a useable tool box...
